In my last couple of posts on Tractor Trailer Accident Cases , I have been discussing problems to avoid in your case . Honesty with your attorney and during the discovery phase of your case is the most critical issue . Once you sue a trucking company , they will put your life under a microscope . The insurance company will dig up every dirty detail of your life in an attempt to avoid or lessen the amount they have to pay for your injuries .The insurance industry has at its disposal access to the Insurance Services Office .This is a data bank of insurance claims .The trucking company will know of every claim you might have made . Also , a background check will be performed on you or you could even be videotaped by them . Your credibilty is at issue and they will try to do anything to shake your credibilty at trial . The moral of the story is to disclose everything good or bad because they will know . It is easier to deal with the truth than fiction.
