Millions of Defective Chinese Tires On Roads

There may be millions of dangerous and defective Chinese tires on our highways . The federal government demanded the recall of 450,000 Chinese made tires .The defect was the result of a failure of the manufacturer to place adhesive strips between the tire belts . This causes the tires to seperate . Check for the Compass , Telluride , Westlake , and YKS brands . The company has admitted that its own tests revealed the tires were coming apart at 25,000 miles when they were designed to last 40,000 miles . There were also dangerous because their inner liners were to weak. Big Business put people over profits when it shipped American jobs overseas to save money . Now it appears we are paying for it with our safety . In single car accidents , I would encourage every one to inspect the tires to see if tread separation was the cause of the accident .
